Campaign period: 1st Jan 2022 to 31st March 2022

Terms and Conditions of the ProsperUs 2022 Account Opening Campaign (the “Campaign”)

  1. This Campaign is organised by CGS-CIMB Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd (“CGS-CIMB”) and is valid from 1 January 2022 to 31 March 2022 (both dates inclusive) (“the Campaign Period”).
  2. Applicants who open a new ProsperUs global investment account with CGS-CIMB (“ProsperUs Account”) within the Campaign Period will be entitled to free level 1 market data subscription for the US markets more particularly described in paragraph 3 until the end of the Campaign Period. Level 1 market data subscription provides access to real-time market data for contracts for difference and stocks for the applicable exchanges and includes real-time best bid/ask, charts and last traded price.
  3. The free US market data subscriptions that would be made available to such applicants and displayed via their ProsperUs Account are as follows:
    1. NASDAQ
    2. New York Stock Exchange
    3. NYSE (AMEX and ARCA), BATs
  4. As an additional benefit, applicants that execute a minimum of 3 buy trades using the same ProsperUs Account shall be rewarded with i) SGD100 cash credit and ii) Resorts World Sentosa (“RWS”) vouchers worth SGD100 within 21 days from the execution date of their 3rd buy trade.
  5. To fulfill the trading requirement in paragraph 4 above:
    1. the three (3) buy trades must be executed within 60 days upon account opening, provided that such period falls within the Campaign Period; and
    2. new clients can trade in any product available on the ProsperUs platform with the exclusion of foreign exchange products.
  6. The rewards from this Campaign cannot be earned in conjunction with any other ongoing campaigns.
  7. CGS-CIMB employees, representatives and agents are not eligible for this Campaign.
  8. The credit rewards for this Campaign will be credited into the successful applicant’s ProsperUs Account in Singapore Dollars or equivalent.
  9. The RWS vouchers for this Campaign will be sent to the email or postal addresses provided by the applicant. The RWS vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise and are further subject to the terms and conditions of RWS.
  10. CGS-CIMB reserves the right to withdraw or substitute the RWS vouchers with other items or vouchers (but shall not be under any obligation to do so) without prior notice and without assigning any reason. Although CGS-CIMB shall endeavour to distribute the RWS vouchers promptly, this is subject to availability and accordingly, CGS-CIMB shall not be responsible for any delays whatsoever nor shall there be any compensation payable in respect of any such delays. The winners of the said vouchers are also advised to inform themselves of the applicable terms and conditions of such voucher.
  11. By participating in this Campaign, each participant is deemed to have read, understood and agree to be bound by the foregoing terms and conditions of the Campaign, CGS-CIMB’s General Terms and Conditions, and the terms and conditions of any other agreement(s) that you may have entered into with CGS-CIMB.
  12. CGS-CIMB reserves the right in its absolute discretion to terminate, vary, delete or add to any of the Campaign’s terms and conditions herein, at any time without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason therefore and without any payment or compensation whatsoever to the client.
  13. CGS-CIMB, its affiliates, its and their respective employees, directors, officers, representatives and agents shall not be liable to any person for any loss, damage, injury, costs or expenses incurred, suffered, borne or arising from this Campaign.
  14. The decision of CGS-CIMB on all matters relating to or arising from this Campaign (including the eligibility of any trade to be considered within the scope of this Campaign, and the eligibility of any person to participate in this Campaign) is absolute, final and binding and no correspondence and/or requests to retract and/or to modify any such decisions shall be considered. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any marketing material relating to this Campaign, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
  15. CGS-CIMB reserves the right to modify, terminate or suspend this Campaign for any reason and without any prior notice whatsoever.
  16. These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of Singapore and the participants in this Campaign agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
  17. This Campaign shall not be construed as an offer, recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any securities. You are advised to make your own independent evaluation and to consult professional advisers before undertaking any transaction.
