Terms and Conditions for the Sure Win Campaign (“Campaign”)

  1. This Campaign is valid from 30 May 2022 to 5 June 2022 (both dates inclusive) (“Campaign Period”).
  2. A physical spinning prize wheel will be featured at the roadshow booth set up as part of the Campaign. The first 500 visitors who are physically present at the roadshow booth will be entitled to one spin of the spinning prize wheel, which allows them to win one out of the five prizes listed on the wheel. The prizes that will be included in the spinning prize wheel are listed in the table below and are subject to stock availability. In the event that any of the prizes have been fully redeemed, it will be replaced by another prize on the spinning wheel.

  1. As an additional benefit, every new client who opens a global investment account (“ProsperUs Account”) with CGS-CIMB Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“CGS-CIMB”) at the roadshow booth during the Campaign Period will be receiving one set of ProsperUs merchandise including tote bag, mask, cup, pen, mouse and notebook and Mr Bean Voucher worth SGD5, all of which are subject to stock availability.
  2. Existing clients who have a ProsperUs Account will also be rewarded with one set of ProsperUs merchandise including tote bag, mask, cup, pen, mouse and notebook, subject to stock availability, if they bring a friend who signs up for a new ProsperUs Account at the roadshow booth during the Campaign Period.
  3. Every new client who signs up for a ProsperUs Account should key in promocode “CRMRS” during their digital onboarding process for record purposes.

Other Terms and Conditions

  1. All prizes are non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods, or benefits in kind. CGS-CIMB reserves the right to withdraw the prizes or substitute the reward with other types of prizes (but shall not be under any obligation to do so) without prior notice and without assigning any reason. Although CGS-CIMB shall endeavour to distribute the prizes promptly, this is subject to availability and accordingly, CGS-CIMB shall not be responsible for any delays whatsoever nor shall there be any compensation payable in respect of any such delays. CGS-CIMB shall be entitled at its sole and absolute discretion to forfeit the prizes from any participant or disqualify any participant from participating in the Campaign.
  2. CGS-CIMB employees, representatives and agents are not eligible for this Campaign.
  3. By participating in this Campaign, each participant is deemed to have read, understood and agrees to be bound by the foregoing terms and conditions of the Campaign, CGS-CIMB’s General Terms and Conditions, and the terms and conditions of any other agreement(s) that the participant may have entered into with CGS-CIMB.
  4. CGS-CIMB reserves the right in its absolute discretion to terminate, vary, delete or add to any of the Campaign’s terms and conditions herein, at any time without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason therefore and without any payment or compensation whatsoever to the client.
  5. CGS-CIMB, its affiliates, its and their respective employees, directors, officers, representatives and agents shall not be liable to any person for any loss, damage, injury, costs or expenses incurred, suffered, borne or arising from this Campaign.
  6. The decision of CGS-CIMB on all matters relating to or arising from this Campaign (including the eligibility of any person to participate in this Campaign) is absolute, final and binding and no correspondence and/or requests to retract and/or to modify any such decisions shall be considered. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any marketing material relating to this Campaign, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
  7. CGS-CIMB reserves the right to modify, terminate or suspend this Campaign for any reason and without any prior notice whatsoever.
  8. These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of Singapore and the participants in this Campaign agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
  9. This Campaign shall not be construed as an offer, recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any securities. Each participant is advised to make their own independent evaluation and to consult professional advisers before undertaking any transaction.
  10. Any person who is not a participant shall not have any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce or benefit from these terms and conditions.
