📅 Important Dates for the ProsperUs Platform Decommissioning

Monday, 11 August 2025
Opening of new positions will no longer be allowed. All existing positions will be set to “Reduce Only” mode.

Friday, 17 October 2025
Last day to enjoy one-time fee waiver for transfer-out requests to another CGS SG platform or other brokerages.
Clients may still request transfers after this date, but standard transfer fees will apply.

Friday 31 October 2025
Final day for all clients to close all open positions and/or sell their mutual fund units – subject to market trading hours of the respective exchanges.

Monday, 3 November 2025
All remaining open positions (excluding stocks/ETFs) and/or mutual fund units will be closed/sold by CGS SG starting from market open.

Friday, 14 November 2025
Last day to withdraw any remaining balances and to submit any transfer-out request.

Friday, 28 November 2025
Last day to download any statements and other documents via the ProsperUs platform.

Sunday, 30 November 2025
The ProsperUs trading platform will be officially decommissioned.

FAQ

Positions Treatment

Effective 11 August 2025, your ProsperUs account will be restricted as follows:

No New Trades Allowed

  •  You will no longer be able to open new positions across all products offered by the ProsperUs platform

“Reduce Only” Mode for Existing Positions

  •  All existing positions will be set to “Reduce Only” mode.
  • This means that you can only sell your existing securities or close or reduce existing positions –

We strongly encourage all clients to take the necessary action, such as initiating transfers or closing positions, well before this date to avoid any unintended outcomes in respect of their investments.

If you hold stocks or ETFs in your ProsperUs account, you have the following options:

Option 1: Transfer out your securities

  • Submit a transfer-out request to move your securities to another brokerage account.
  • To enjoy a one-time fee waiver, submit your request by 17 October 2025.
  • This waiver only applies to transfers made to a single receiving broker.
  • Multiple or split requests (including to more than one broker) will incur standard transfer-out fees.

Option 2: Liquidate and Withdraw

  • You may choose to liquidate your securities manually before the platform is decommissioned.
  • Once the trades are settled (typically T+2), you can submit a withdrawal request.

If no action is taken:

  • Your securities will be safekept in custody, but your ProsperUs account will be closed after 30 November 2025.
  • Custody or maintenance fees may apply for safekeeping of your assets.
  • If you wish to access or transfer your stocks/ETFs after your account is closed, you have to contact our customer support team.

Transfer Options & Market Eligibility

Transfer to CGS SG iTrade Account(Online).
“Online” means that you can place and manage your trades directly through the iTrade online platform at https://itrade.cgsi.com.sg/

  • Singapore (SGX)
  • Hong Kong (HKEX)
  • United States (NYSE/NASDAQ)
  • Malaysia (BURSA)
  • Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect
  • Shenzhen- Hong Kong Stock Connect

Transfer to CGS SG iTrade Account(Offline).
“Offline” refers to markets where trades must be executed through your assigned Trading Representative (TR) and not via the online platform. These positions will be reflected under your “Custody Holdings” statement, not within the standard iTrade dashboard.

  • Deutsche Borse (XETRA)
  • Euronext Amsterdam
  • Euronext Paris
  • London Stock Exchange
  • SIX Swiss Exchange
  • Tokyo Stock Exchange
  • Toronto Stock Exchange
  • TSX Venture Exchange

Transfer to the UP Account

Markets:

  • United States (NYSE/NASDAQ)
  • Singapore (SGX)
  • Malaysia (BURSA)

The following CANNOT be transferred, and must be closed or sold:

  • OTC products
  • Fractional shares

Transfer to an External Broker

  •  Transfers to other brokers are subject to the receiving broker’s acceptance of incoming transfers.
  • Check with your external broker to confirm if they can receive your specific holdings.
  • Market eligibility for external transfers may vary by broker. Clients are advised to verify market acceptance and transfer-in processes with the receiving broker in advance.

Due to options having an expiration date, your options positions must be closed before the ProsperUs platform decommissioning.

Last day to close options positions: 31 October 2025

Any open options positions will be closed by CGS SG on 3 November 2025 during market hours.

All foreign exchange (FX) positions — including spot and forward contracts — must be closed prior to the ProsperUs platform decommissioning:

Any open FX positions will be closed by CGS SG on 3 November 2025 during market hours.

If you hold mutual fund units, please take note of the following options and important dates:

Option 1: Transfer your mutual fund units

  • Some mutual fund units may be eligible for transfer to another platform or broker, depending on the fund provider.
  • To retain your mutual fund holdings, please contact us early to check transfer eligibility.
  • Deadline to submit transfer requests: 17 October 2025.

Option 2: Sell your mutual funds units manually:

  • You may choose to sell your mutual funds units
  • Final day to sell mutual fund units: 31 October 2025.
  • Sale proceeds will be credited to your ProsperUs account and may be withdrawn after the applicable settlement period.

If no transfer or sale request is received from you by 17 October 2025, CGS SG may effect a sale of any remaining units at the unit’s net asset value on 3 November 2025.

CFDs are non-transferable and must be closed before the ProsperUs platform decommissioning:
